The wood crusher consists of three main components: the upper body, the middle body, and the lower body. The middle body is equipped with a triple stator ring, a crushing cutter head, and a fineness analyzer. The main machine features an alloy cutter head, providing excellent wear resistance and improving production output. It performs coarse crushing, fine crushing, and centrifugal crushing. Driven by a motor, the rotor operates at high speeds, generating a high-velocity airflow that exerts intense impact, compression, and cutting forces on the materials to achieve efficient crushing. This machine is an ideal preliminary processing equipment for woodworking. Key components include the casing, bearings, screens, transmission wheels, and a grooved frame, all cast from durable manganese steel.

Working Principle

  • Composed of an upper body, middle body, and lower body.
  • The crushing cutter assembly features type-7 blades, type-1 blades, and centrifugal blades.
  • Auxiliary equipment includes a fan, a powder collector, and a dust collector.
  • The main crushing chamber utilizes the blades for coarse, fine, and centrifugal crushing. High-speed rotor operation generates strong airflow, delivering impact, compression, cutting, and friction forces.
  • As materials are crushed, they accelerate in the airflow and undergo repeated impact and friction. They then enter the analyzer; when the centrifugal force of the analyzer's rotor exceeds the centripetal force of the airflow, fine particles enter the powder collector. Coarse particles return to the centrifugal crushing chamber for further processing until the target fineness is achieved.

Operating Guidelines

  • Foundation: Secure the wood crusher to the ground, preferably using concrete for stabilization.
  • Pre-Operation Check: Manually rotate the main shaft before starting to ensure the bearings operate smoothly. Check component clearances and foundation stability to prevent time-consuming reinstallations and material waste.
  • Mounting: Install both the crusher and the motor on an angle steel base.
  • Feeding Procedure: Clear any debris from the machine before starting. Check for reverse rotation during the test run. Feed a small amount of material initially to verify output quality. Wait until the first piece of wood is fully processed before inserting the next to prevent jamming.
  • Uniform Feeding: Feed materials consistently. Stop the machine immediately for inspection if you notice abnormal noises, overheated bearings, or material back-spraying.
  • Safety & Specifications: Perform circuit checks before starting and shutting down to prevent electrical leakage. Ensure wood length is under 30 cm and not excessively thick. Keep the area around the inlet and outlet clear to prevent accidents.
  • Maintenance: Clean the bearings and replace the oil after 300 hours of operation. Fill the bearing housing to 1/3 of its capacity, not exceeding 1/2. Remove the drive belt during long periods of inactivity.
  • Shutdown Procedure: Stop feeding materials first. Wait until the crushing chamber is completely empty before cutting off the power. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance after shutdown.
  • Material Inspection: Inspect materials carefully before operation to prevent hard objects like metals or stones from entering the crushing chamber and causing accidents.
  • Belt Pulleys: Avoid frequently changing the belt pulleys to prevent excessively high or low rotation speeds.
